Florian Schneider Illustration by Chris O'Neal

I was honored to pay tribute to multi-instrumentalist Kraftwerk co-founder Florian Schneider-Esleben for FOD 2020.

I was first introduced to Kraftwerk, the same way I was to so many other important artists, working at the Imaging Center at Pratt Institute. They still sound utterly unique and futuristic and are better than The Beatles.

  • Radio Raheem print by Chris O'Neal

Referencing the iconic Radio Raheem, from Spike Lee’s film “Do The Right Thing” I created a limited run of screenprints in honor of the racial justice activism of 2020. These two color 8″ x 8″ silkscreen prints of green and metallic gold have been printed on a variety of color papers that are approximately 11″ x 14″. All prints are signed and numbered.

For a donation to The D.R.A.W’s programs, you received a surprise variation of one of these limited edition prints on either neutral, fluorescent or swirled papers. I donated all proceeds from sales of this print series to The D.R.A.W.’s arts education and leadership programming.
